Does a good job for the price! Never thought I would find one of these ceramic personal A/C devices. I am half Lebanese & half German Irish, that combination means SWEATING! This helps immensely. I got white for less sun heating on the unit. And what I like about that plate on the back of your neck is where do they always put cool towels and ice bags to cool you down the fastest on the back of your neck. Fully ready to test this sucker in the football stadium press box. It gets so hot in some. We will see!
Updated review after using it a few more times.Just an FYI.On low fan and low cooling, it ran for a little over 3 and a half hours.On medium fan and medium cooling, it ran for 2 hours.I wanted a replacement for a neck fan that I've had for 4 years and will only run for 2 hours now, after using it for years. It used to run for 6 hours.So, I guess I was expecting the "new generation" of neck fans to have a little more batteries storage. It's certainly heavy enough.As for the weight. I was expecting it to weight more because of the cooling panel and it does. But the weight is well distributed so that it doesn't feel uncomfortable.The cooling plate uses up a lot of battery and doesn't do much on low. I think I would rather have fan vents in the back instead of the cooling plate.And I'm disappointed in the run time.I'm thinking about returning it.
I use it on very hot days and I really like it. The cooling plate provides an almost instant cooling sensation, and the three modes allow you to adjust the intensity according to the temperature. It's comfortable to carry, doesn't weigh too much, and the battery lasts long enough for several hours of use. Excellent
Where I live, the summer temperatures routinely reach 89 to nearly 90 degrees. Having this neck fan has been a huge help for me to deal with that kind of heat. It works great for my daily routines, but it is also amazing to take to celebrations and outdoor fairs. The cooling effect feels really nice and refreshing when I am walking around in the heat. It is a very useful device to have with me to stay comfortable during summer days.
I work in a kitchen and it's always unbearably hot during the summer. I search for one of theses to save me from the oppressing heat and decided to go for one of the more pricey options out here. Plus it seemed one of the few other options to choose from on here because 1 style seemed to dominate the choice.This one works exceptionally well and actually blows cool air towards your face and has another fan in the middle that blows cool air down your back. The ceramic plate is another great feature. There are 3 levels of cooling temperature for this. The cold plate right at the back of your neck is a life saver by applying that cold feeling on the spot that takes your body temperature down.If you're trying to buy a device that helps you escape the heat this device is a good choice. It actually blows cold air like an AC and regulates your body temp with the cooling plate. Not to mention, it's pretty quiet and you're not drowned with the sound of the fans operating.I greatly recommend this neck fan. It may be a little pricier that other models but the build quality is solid and it operates as it should. Don't skip this one.
